Facebook Ads or Google Ads: which should you start with?
One captures demand, the other creates it. A practical way to decide where your first ad dollars should go.

It's one of the most common questions we hear. The honest answer is that it depends on how people look for what you sell.
Google captures existing demand
If people actively search for your service — a plumber, a mortgage broker, a real estate agent in a specific town — Google Search puts you in front of them at the moment of intent. Leads tend to be warmer, and clicks tend to cost more.
Facebook creates demand
If your ideal client doesn't yet know they need you, or rarely searches for it, Meta lets you reach them based on who they are. With the right offer, it's one of the most efficient ways to start conversations at scale.
A simple rule of thumb
Start where your buyers already are. If there's meaningful search volume for your service locally, start with Google. If not, or if you sell something people need to be introduced to, start with Facebook. Most growing businesses eventually use both.
